The BEYA Welcome Committee has announced that a networking reception will take place on Tuesday, January 9th at the Reginald Lewis Museum from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
This event marks the return of the BEYA STEM Conference to Baltimore after over a decade of regional rotation. The 38th Annual BEYA STEM Conference is scheduled from February 15th-17th in downtown Baltimore.
Previously recognized as one of Baltimore's 20 largest conferences by the Baltimore Business Journal, the conference is expected to have a significant economic impact on the city.
With an estimated attendance of 12,000, mainly from out of town, the direct spending on accommodations, dining, transportation, and other local services is projected to be substantial.
The conference will create numerous temporary jobs in the event management, hospitality, and transportation sectors.
Hosting this conference will help Baltimore's reputation as a prime location for future large-scale events, fostering increased tourism and business prospects.
The economic benefits extend beyond direct spending, including an increase in business for local businesses.
The event will also include community projects and partnerships, leaving a lasting positive impact on Baltimore.
The committee invites everyone to welcome this significant event back to Baltimore and participate in the networking reception, marking the beginning of what promises to be an unforgettable conference experience.
