The Modern-Day Technology Leader (MDTL) Award is given to men and women who demonstrate outstanding performance in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM). During the 2020 BEYA Conference in February, several NetApp employees received the MDTL award.
They included senior managers, project managers, customer assurance program managers, Cloud data services solutions engineers, global enterprise managers, software quality assurance and testing managers, and digital content specialists. Students at the 2020 BEYA Career Fair were able to meet the award-winning NetApp team in the exhibit hall.
Students also met NetApp's Network of Blacks in Tech employee resource group. Members of the ERG served as moderators and panelists in seminars focused on the latest tech trends, as well as judges in the Student Design Challenge organized by AMIE, a leading organization that develops industry, government, and university partnerships to increase diversity in the engineering workforce.
A few NetApp Veterans (NetVets) also attended the BEYA Stars and Stripes ceremony which is one of the largest events honoring top blacks in the U.S. military and members of the federal Senior Executive Service.
