All throughout March, CCG Media has featured award-winning women in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) on its High-Tech Sunday podcast. To close out Women's History Month 2021, the hosts sit down with Demetria Hall, a systems engineer at Lockheed Martin Corporation and two-time award winner at the Women of Color STEM Conference and the BEYA STEM Conference.
Starting from humble beginnings in a small refinery town in Texas, Demetria always had a love for math and science. After a conversation with an engineer at the refinery, she decided on engineering as a career. Currently, she is the Flight Simulation and STEM Project Lead at Lockheed Martin and has led the program for the past five years.
Demetria also spends countless hours outside of work volunteering in STEM programs. She feels blessed to have a platform that enables her to engage students regularly in conversations about following one's passion and fighting your fears. Connect with Demetria Hall on LinkedIn and find out more about Lockheed Martin's student programs and entry-level career pathways on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and the Lockheed Martin jobs website.
Take a listen to the podcast on YouTube, Google Podcasts, Apple Podcasts, Spotify, PodBbean, and Facebook.
