Mike Bell is a director of Strategy and Innovation with AT&T. One of the most notable accomplishments of this 2017 BEYA winner for Technical Sales and Marketing was facilitating the AT&T Wi-Fi Enterprise solution at one of the largest retailers in the world.

He is highly skilled in technology, innovation, and AT&T products. But most importantly, he knows how to build relationships with customer executives and colleagues. Mike is known for his technical expertise, and ability to discuss the application of complex technologies in a straightforward manner.

The combination of these skills has allowed Mike to close key sales opportunities involving Multiprotocol Label Switching, a type of data-carrying technique for high-performance telecommunications networks, Wi-Fi, and Analytics.

As director of strategy and innovation for one of the largest telecommunications companies, he understands customers' business priorities and develops technology transformation strategies for AT&T's largest retail and consumer packet goods clients.

He works with lots of different people, skill sets and processes to make decisions that allocate resources to old and new AT&T products and for operational success. Customers, sales teams, AT&T product groups, technical communities, and colleagues recognize Mike as a leader.

He is also a role model for students interested in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) careers. He is a recurring volunteer with a group that hosts students in the AT&T Junior Achievement Job Shadow program.

The Junior Achievement program helps prepare students for a bright future. People like Mike inspire and prepare young people to succeed.

With a strong family background, a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, and a Master of Science in Telecommunications, Mike is well equipped to motivate and encourage students to take an interest in STEM education and career opportunities.
